Hi, Youtube’s a great website but to get good views is really difficult…what’s the best content? and how can I find what’s good content for youtube? Also: my website’s in the same niche as youtube but not so much traffic, it’s a small website, how can I get more viewers? (I want views, not members, lol) and also, what’s a good way to promote my website?
For me, youtube is great at grabbing views but terrible at getting subscribers and comments. That’s why I’ve decided to focus more on building an email list.
For example, an opt-in list for the 20 top things I sell, a list of the most popular things on my site, etc. Anyway, hope this helps. I’m just starting up a youtube site and it’s really hard to get views on it. In the beginning, I had no idea how to make videos. I watched all kinds of how-to videos but I got so frustrated that I didn’t do any videos until after a year and a half of playing around with it. It’s only been a year and I’ve made close to 30 videos. I don’t spend a lot of money on them but I also have a site I’ve had running for a long time that has very little traffic and I use the same tactic I do on youtube for that one. I also get a lot of free traffic from google searches because it’s a subject my family is very interested in.
This isn’t something anyone can give you advice about as you have to figure it out for yourself but I think it’s good to keep things in mind when you are creating videos.
You should probably start with a basic template you can add to your own style. Use your videos as a place to get traffic and build a following. Don’t try to do videos for the sake of doing them and they should all be of good quality. I don’t think that this has anything to do with having content. I’ve got hundreds of videos on youtube. I can’t get anywhere near that. Not only that but not one person watches my videos unless they have a search query in mind to find something about.
I’ve got a few of the videos from my site at the bottom but there’s no point in wasting my time trying to increase views when my main audience is on my site. To answer your question, make videos about the subjects that people want to watch and don’t focus on anything else.

You can’t just make videos about a particular subject, if no one is searching for it, why would they watch it? Make sure you do keyword research to make sure you get the most out of what you’re doing. If you don’t have much money to spend, you might want to try doing some giveaways on youtube. People tend to find their videos through searches.
