Insomnia or Late Night Sleep?

Sometimes I get insomnia but generally, I get to sleep. It will be really easy for me to get to sleep within 10 min after I wake up in the morning, but sometimes I don’t get sleep for two days and I find myself in a very bad state.

I have heard that this is referred to as insomnia. But, the more days I stay without sleep, the worse it becomes and it feels like my head is starting to explode. Why is this happening and is this a normal thing?

Is it insomnia? If yes, then is it bad for health? These questions are quite natural, especially if you haven’t had proper sleep for a while. First of all, you should try to understand the cause and effects of insomnia.

There are many causes of insomnia. It could be a very simple or complex cause. We can’t tell what exactly is the without your feedback. In other words, if you are suffering from insomnia and it is bad for your health, then the first step is to solve your insomnia. The next step will be to find out why you have insomnia.

Insomnia is a sleep disorder. That is to say, if you are having a sleepless night for no reason, then it is insomnia, otherwise, it is something else.

In many cases, insomnia is associated with emotional problems. For example, it may be an initial reaction to a or it could be some other emotional problem that you may be experiencing. Therefore, it is important to check whether there is any such a reason for your sleeplessness.

The first step is to have a proper sleep routine. If your routine has not been going well, then it could be a problem. Sleep hygiene plays a very important role in the  of any individual. Sleep hygiene includes the things that you do and the foods that you eat before going to bed.

The second step will be to determine if you have a sleeping disorder or not. Sleeping disorder means a condition when you are unable to fall asleep and/or maintain a sleep cycle for a prolonged period.

This happens if you have, if you use sleeping medication without consulting a doctor or if you have other sleeping disorders. So, you need to check these things too before you take any action.

Once you are sure about all of these things, the next step will be to analyze your current sleep condition. This means to evaluate the effects of the various things on your sleep, such as exercise, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, anxiety, diet, and stress. So, you should check all these things before you make any decision.

After all these things are determined, you can take an action. The first thing is to try to stay away from anything that will stimulate you. This is not easy for some people. Sometimes you have to use force to stay away from certain things that you don’t want.

In some cases, if you go through with your previous schedule, then it may make things worse. That is why you need to experiment. You could try something new in a certain situation.

The next thing is to get a proper sleep routine, such as trying to go to bed at a time when you are tired. If  at that time, then try to sleep for another time. If that doesn’t work, then wake up earlier to have a proper sleep. You may need to consult a physician or psychiatrist.

Insomnia can occur for a variety of reasons. So, you may need to see a psychiatrist. Sometimes you need to go to a sleep laboratory. An asleep laboratory is a place where you can go to sleep with a special instrument. It can detect any abnormalities and abnormalities during sleep. That is why it is important to find out the cause of your before any further action is taken.

  1. The stress caused by the previous day’s activities. These activities include work and exercise. This stress can easily be avoided by taking naps before sleep. Napping before sleep can be effective and is one of the best natural cures for insomnia.
  2. Anxiety can be an important cause of insomnia. If anxiety is there, then sleeping without worrying about your work or studies may help. This is where the stress by daily life activities can manifest itself, making sleep impossible. If you have anxiety, it is important to address it immediately so that it does not cause insomnia.

Stress management is very important in deprivation. If there are some common mental health problems like anxiety or depression that you are facing, you should address these and get the treatment done.

Some people might also have an illness like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, Hashimoto’s, hypoglycemia or Cushing’s disease which can cause sleep deprivation. A good sleeping environment can improve the quality of sleep. An uninterrupted sleeping environment is important to avoid insomnia.
